Our specially designed Balance & Strength class adapts classical Pilates mat exercises and stretches into standing versions, enhanced with flowing Tai Chi–inspired sequences.
Standing Pilates is a weight-bearing practice that strengthens bones by activating the muscles of the hips and legs. Combined with the mindful, fluid nature of Tai Chi, this class also improves posture, mobility, and balance while calming the mind. Working upright allows you to experience the influence of gravity on the body and discover just how vital your core is to everything you do.
